They met in 2013 at Buffalo Wild Wings when Alex secretly bought Yvette and her friends drinks. Yvette invited him and his best friend to their table and they hit it off immediately. After a couple of dates, they spent every minute of the weekend together- which lead them to move in together only months later.
On New Years Eve of 2017 Alex popped the question in Yvette's grandparents home which has always held a very special place in her heart in front of his and Yvette's close family. Alex had planned out the engagement months prior with Yvette's father Luis who is a jeweler to custom design the perfect ring for her.
I have lived all over the US and even a few months in Spain. I met Yvette during the beginning of my career at Citibank, and swept her away with my passion for creative culinary dishes. Travel and adventure has always been something I've strived for, and I plan to share that with Yvette forever.
Born and raised in Miami, I met Alex while in the midst of finishing my Associates degree at Miami Dade. I knew that Alex was the one when he drove me 1,276 miles to New York so that I can experience Autumn for the first time (after only being with me for two months!). His love for spontaneity captured me from the very start.
We’re so lucky to be able to spend our wedding day with all of our friends and family; your presence is truly all the present we need. Because we have all the basic household supplies covered, and have a tiny apartment- if you’d like to get us a gift to celebrate, we’ve created a registry fund on that we’ll use to enjoy our honeymoon, save for a down payment and furnish our home together.
Thank you
